Diamond Blades - Blade guide 101 - The Tool Corner
2012-3-9 · This blade is usually referred to as a dry cutting blade. The reason that it can be used on dry applications without water is due to the cut outs—or segments—on the edge of the blade. These allow for air flow and cooling of the blade core. The segments also allow for better exhaust of debris, allowing for a swifter cut.
